The witches is a book about a boy and his grandmother. One day the boy's parents go out so they leave him with the grandmother. Everything was fine she put him to bed and told him a story. Then the next day a police man went to there house and told the grandmother his parents were dead! The father of the boy had left a will before and it said that they wanted the boy to live with his grandmother.
After a while they went to a hotel and the boy was wondering around when he walked into a ballroom. Little did he know that about 100 witches and the queen witch were going to follow him very shortly. He saw the witches and he tried to hide but his smell was to strong. He had heard them talk about there plan to give children chocolate bars and then they would turn into mice. Suddenly a witch spotted the boy and all the witches chased him. Until finally they caught him and they forced him to have some chocolate. The boy was now a mouse!
I'm not going to ruin the surprise anymore. You'll have to read the book and see what happens next!
I give this book a 4/5. It is very good and I recommend it to anyone who likes a funny story!

Dork Diaries-Party Time
Dork Diaries-Party Time is a book about a girl who is picked on at school. She ends up getting into a BIG mess and she has to go to 3 parties! One with her worst enemy hosting it (In a rat costume.) Then she has a school party! And having to hang out with her 'boyfriend.' She somehow manages to do then all but then they find out and its a big embarrassment! In a way she wins a prize but not for what you think!
